 ADLER REAL ESTATE reports interim mid-term result for the current business year of 2006

Development of the 1st mid-term of 2006 according to schedule
Returning back into the operational profit zone
Hamburg, August 24, 2006. During the first mid-term of the business year of 2006, ADLER Real Estate AG (ISIN: DE DE0005008007), Frankfurt, generated operating revenues in the amount of 1.1 million EUR in comparison to 2.4 million EUR during the same period last year. The operating revenues during the first mid-term of 2005 were affected by the reversal of provisions in the amount of 2.3 million EUR.
As of the reporting date, June 30, the EBIT?was 0.1 million EUR in comparison to 0.9 million EUR as of June 30, 2005. As of June 30, 2005, the EBIT, adjusted by one-off effects was -0.8 million EUR. Thus, the company was able to increase their result of operation adjusted by one-off effects by 0.9 million EUR in comparison to the same period last year and effectively returned into the profit zone.
The group's accrued profit or loss during the first mid-term of 2006 was 0.35 million EUR in comparison to 1.0 million EUR during the first mid-term of 2005. During the first mid-term of 2005, the group reported losses in the amount of -0.8 million EUR, adjusted by one-off effects. Thus, the company was able to increase the group's accrued profit or loss by the end of the first six months of the current business year by 1.15 million EUR.
In addition to the scheduled operational development of the company, the company expects a positive result from the successfully implemented capital increase during the course of the remaining business year of 2006. In the following weeks, the company will release information as to how they will use the gross issuing proceeds in the amount of 14.0 million EUR, received by the company end of July 2006.
The group's final mid-term report pursuant to IFRS will be published by August 31, 2006.
